- UBC Student Assistance Plan: a free, 24/7 wellness resource for students.
- Wellness Centre Online: Students can self-enroll to access information, strategies, and resources on health and wellbeing topics
- Wellness Centre Navigators are available online to help students navigate the various campus health and wellness resources.
- All other student mental health resources are available on the Student Health Services site.
- Let your students know about Thrive!
- Encourage them to take time to explore ways to support their mental health–to help them live and learn well.
- Talk about the importance of fostering mental health to live, work, and learn your best.
- Embed a Canvas module entitled “Stress & Self-care: Thrive Edition”– Created by the UBC Wellness Centre, this module is available via the Canvas commons and can be embedded into your course for your students to learn about:
- The role of stress as it relates to academic performance
- Their own stress response
- Implementing resilience and coping strategies
- Know the signs your students may need help:
- Learn about supporting your students’ wellbeing in an online environment
- Request a workshop for your unit or department
- Check out planning tools to foster academic tenacity through online connection.

- EFAP provides both short-term clinical counselling and work-life consultations to all eligible UBC employees and their dependent family members.
