Thriving in Different Time Zones Series: Staying Motivated During Exam Period

Vancouver Campus | 5:00am–6:00am

Thriving in Different Time Zones Series

We acknowledge that Covid-19 has kept us apart and many of you are living and learning across the world. The Thriving in Different Time Zones Series is way for us to connect and learn about, talk about and explore ways to support our mental health. In addition to accessing various recorded Thrive sessions, UBC community members across the world can access three different live/synchronous mental health and wellbeing workshops facilitated by the Health Promotion and Education Unit. Sign up for one or all three.

Tuesday, November 24th 5am-6:30am PST Staying Motivated During Exam Period

It’s no surprise that as the weeks go on, staying motivated while learning from home seems to be dragging on. Finding the motivation to keep up with class each day can be challenging amidst all the other challenges that Covid-19 has brought. Acknowledging such obstacles to motivation, however, is an important step in managing them. While we may know how new and difficult the current situation is that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to boost motivation when learning from home begins to wear us down. Learn about some tips to stay motivated and help you persist through your first term and exams.
