Reimagining Universities in Climate-Just Futures: An Intergenerational Dialogue
Vancouver Campus | 12:30pm–1:30pm
This event will hold space for intergenerational conversations about the role of university institutions in addressing the climate crisis. A panel discussion featuring students, faculty and staff, will share their insights on their involvement in climate work as a means to co-create just futures.
Panelists:
Akuzike Limbanga, undergraduate student, Geography and African Studies
Dr. Kshamta Hunter, Manager of Transformative Learning & Student Engagement and a lecturer in the Faculty of Education at UBC
Dr. Frank Tester, UBC Emeritus College Professor, filmmaker
Following the panel, participants will have the opportunity to engage in dialogue over a (free!) meal together.
