The relaunched Land Acknowledgments at UBC course is an updated resource for faculty and staff to develop greater awareness around offering land acknowledgements in their role at UBC, and guiding them towards ensuring that their statements are both meaningful and accountable.

The course can be utilized as a professional development tool with entire teams and departments, using the facilitation guide to ground your learnings and action plans as a group. Leaders and Managers can take this course as part of their own professional development and are also invited to enroll as co-learners alongside their teams and departments.

This relaunch is a part of the Indigenous Learning Pathways (ILP) program, a joint project between CTLT Indigenous Initiatives and HR Orientations & Onboarding, with contributions from many Indigenous programming areas, staff, and community members at UBC.
