Food Skills Workshop: Dorm Room Eating with Kierra


Okanagan Campus | 6:00pm–7:30pm

Living in dorms or living with roommates definitely has its challenges especially around making meals that are nutritious, taste good, and don’t need a ton of appliances and space to make. Join Sierra with Campus Health in this FREE online workshop to learn how to make some easy, minimal equipment needed recipes. You provide the kitchen tools and we will provide all the ingredients!

What you’ll learn: Tips and tricks to upgrade typical dorm room meals as well as get some ideas of new meals and snacks that are quick, affordable, and easy to make even in dorm rooms!

What we’ll make: 2 recipes!! Overnight oats and Protein-packed wraps.

  • What you’ll need (borrow from someone if you need to!):
  • A mason jar, cup, or container with a lid
  • Measuring cups
  • Cutting board
  • A butter knife or paring knife

You must be a UBC Okanagan student to register for this event.

After you register, you will get a confirmation email with instructions about where/when to pick up your ingredients and the ZOOM link to join us online. Make sure to scroll the whole email to find that information!
