Food Skills Workshop: Food and Mood with Hardikaa


Okanagan Campus | 6:00pm–7:30pm

Did you know 90% of serotonin (happy hormone) is produced in the gut? Join Hardikaa with Campus Health in this FREE online workshop to learn how the food you eat influences your mind. This interactive workshop shares tips on mood-boosting recipes that help make “happy hormones”. You provide the kitchen tools and we will provide all the ingredients!

Come and learn how to cook wholemeal pasta spirals with rocket pesto, green beans, and potatoes. You are given FREE ingredients to follow along with our workshop.

What you’ll learn: How to cook a simple and affordable meal that good for the body, mind, and soul.

What we’ll make: Wholemeal Pasta spirals with rocket pesto, green beans, and potatoes.

What you’ll need (borrow from someone if you need to!):

  • 1 large pan
  • 1 knife for cutting/chopping
  • Cutting board
  • Small pot
  • Strainer or anything you can use to drain pasta

You must be a UBC Okanagan student to register for this event.

After you register, you will get a confirmation email with instructions about where/when to pick up your ingredients and the ZOOM link to join us online. Make sure to scroll the whole email to find that information!
