Building Safe and Supportive Learning Environments

Building Safe and Supportive Learning Environments

The Office of Faculty Development and Educational Support has developed an online module to support teachers in optimizing safe and supportive learning environments for learners in Faculty of Medicine health sciences programs.

This module will introduce teachers to UBC Faculty of Medicine's student mistreatment policies and reporting process so that you can assist students in the health sciences requiring support. This module also provides resources for faculty to build safe and supportive relationships with their learners by fostering student resilience and well-being.
