Date and time: February 23 and 28, 2022, 12:10 - 12:50p.m. for Move UBC month
Location: Zoom Webinar. The Zoom link will be emailed to you before the event once you register below. The email will be from aisha.tejani@ubc.ca.
Audience: UBC Staff, Faculty and Students.

Information about the session
In this session, Melissa Nkomo will use gentle movement, deep breathing, and stillness to teach you how to compassionately regulate your nervous system and reclaim your sense of self and safety. These tools will serve you as you navigate life and trauma beyond the practice. For this session, you'll need a quiet space, yoga mat, and room to move around. If you have access to yoga props or can get creative with items from around your house - like blankets and cushions - you are encouraged to have those close by. Learn more about Melissa by visiting kunye.co/about.
