Lunch + Lift: Building Skills to Manage Stress
Virtual Campus | 12:00pm–1:00pm
Lunch + Lift is a series of free 2-in-1 interactive wellbeing workshops consisting of a 30-minute movement class, followed by a 30-minute interactive wellbeing session facilitated by a UBC wellbeing professional. In this session, participants will learn about the body’s stress response and how to identify these responses in themselves. They will have an opportunity to take a stress index, explore what self and community care means to them and identify key UBC resources that can be engaged to support work-life integration and positive mental health.
Prerequisites: No prior experience or knowledge is necessary.
Required Equipment: No equipment is required, however you may want to have a yoga mat or towel to work on for the fitness portion.
Location and Sign-in Details: Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent out by email a few days before the event.
