Healing Through Land & Culture

N’alaga will share her story of transformation by highlighting the intersectionality of colonial genocide, systemic separation from Indigenous identity, land & culture, and mental heath & addiction struggles that come as a result of these facets. Topics covered will include : moving away from pathologizing Indigenous folks, Centring Ancestral Wisdom as an Act of Resistance to 500+ years of attempted and ongoing colonial genocide, Neurodecolozation, Impacts of trauma on the nervous system and how a connection to land, culture, breath and embodiment can help us to heal from trauma and mental health struggles.
A 30 minute discussion period and time for questions will follow N’alaga's story.
