Healing-Centred Yoga for Survivors and Allies
Vancouver Campus | 12:30pm–1:30pm
Yoga Nidra
UBC students are invited to come explore the practice of yoga nidra or "yogic sleep". This meditation practice is aimed at helping survivors living with PTSD and anxiety develop tools to help manage their wellness. In this meditation workshop we will practice releasing muscular tension in the body, while simultaneously cultivating stillness, presence, and mental clarity. Join SVPRO for an afternoon of physical relaxation and mental restoration with Kendra Coupland.
Mats and chairs will be provided. Register here.

Experiencing the world as a queer woman of colour, and survivor of childhood sexual assault Kendra brings a compassionate trauma-informed and intersectional framework to her practice.
