In the fall of 2023, the Office of Wellbeing Strategy launched a new funding stream to enhance wellbeing in teaching, learning, and research environments across Vancouver and Okanagan campuses. This initiative, a new component of the UBC Wellbeing Strategic Initiative Fund, aims to support capacity-building initiatives that advance UBC's Wellbeing Strategic Framework.
UBC faculty, staff, and students collaborating with a staff or faculty sponsor are invited to submit their applications by January 15th, 2024. Successful applicants can secure up to $5,000 to embed sustainable health and wellbeing strategic initiatives within the realms of teaching, learning and research (TLR). The selected projects will also have the opportunity to be featured at a knowledge sharing event in Spring 2024. This new funding emphasizes UBC's commitment to cultivating a positive and thriving community by investing in innovative and impactful initiatives that enhance wellbeing.
