CliftonStrengths Assessment: Unlocking Your Strengths for Academic and Career Growth in Grad School

November 26, 2025, 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm

Virtual

Quick – tell us the top five things you are good at! Can you do it? The truth is, many of us spend more time focused on (and trying to fix) what we’re not good at, instead of discovering, appreciating, and cultivating our strengths. In this session, using the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment (www.gallupstrengthscenter.com), you will learn more about your top strengths, how they interact with each other, how they shape your perspective, and how they can be leveraged for success in grad school and beyond. The Top 5 Strengths Assessment is included in this workshop.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Reflect on, interpret, and articulate your unique strengths and specify what they mean to you
  • Discuss and share ideas about how your strengths inform your degree and your future career plans
  • Learn about opportunities to speak to your strengths
