(BE)LONGING: Tiny Stories for Radical Futures
Okanagan Campus | 7:00pm–8:30pm
Join us on Wednesday, December 7 @ 7:00 pm at Third Space Cafe to celebrate the launch of the chapbook "(BE)LONGING: Tiny Stories for Radical Futures," edited by Chantal Bilodeau and written by the CRWR 473 students: Makena Bennett, Marcey Costello, Miriam Cummings, Ricarro Duhaney, Annie Furman, Hope Kircher, Rhea Kjargaard and Calise Stankoven. We’ll have readings and a conversation on how we can creatively engage with the climate crisis. Thrive Month is the perfect opportunity to connect socially around this important issue, help each other to feel hopeful, and ease the burden of ecoanxiety, which affects sleep, physical function, nourishment, and in turn affects our mental health. This event is open to everyone and admission is free. Chapbook & snacks will be available for purchase. The venue is fully accessible.
