Active Wear Wednesday
Okanagan Campus | 8:00am–10:00am
Vancouver:
If you're working or learning from home, every day might be active wear day! But to motivate you to put those yoga pants and running shoes to good use, we've partnered with a few local businesses to offer some freebies and discounts to UBC students, faculty, and staff. If these spots are in your health district, we encourage you lace up those running shoes and stroll, cycle, or speed walk over on Active Wear Wednesdays! Please be sure to wear a mask, observe social and physical distancing, and comply with all Provincial Health Orders.

Okanagan:
Every Wednesday throughout February for Move UBC month, the Starbucks Kelowna Aiport Business Park near UBCO will be offering a free coffee to any student, staff or faculty member dressed in active wear between 8-10AM. To redeem a free coffee you must order inside the store cafe, not in Drive Thru.
Active Wear Day is an annual initiative with the goal of increasing physical activity in our community. The aim of this initiative is to break down the barrier associated with fitting in exercise in your work or school schedule and bringing exercise clothing in order to encourage exercise before, after, or even during work. Active Wear Day occurs every Wednesday in February.
