Reuniting after a 5-year hiatus, UBC IT's Sun Run team is back! UBC IT staff is enoucraged to join in the 41st Vancouver Sun Run, Canada’s biggest start line, on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Lace up your shoes, join your colleagues, and experience this incredible 10K event with thousands of people from all walks of life. Whether you're an experienced runner or a beginner looking for a new challenge, this is the perfect opportunity to make your mark. Run, walk and cheer with the UBC IT Team.

UBC IT will be planning various participant prizes and kick-off events/training sessions along the way! Your event package, including your t-shirt and race bib with a built-in time tracker, will be delivered to LSK Admin Office for future pick-up.

How to register

1. Go to the Vancouver Sun Run website and click on “Register today”

2. Choose "Team Division - In Person 10K – Adult"

3. Under Team Selection select “UBC IT (Swati Mittal)"

4. Enter the Team Access Code “HXLVBE”

5. Complete the form and make your purchase
