Come test your bouldering skills at the UBC Recreation Bouldering Competition on Friday, February 2! Climbers will each get 1 hour to complete the hardest climbs they can. There will be up to 4 climbers in each 1-hour time slot, so plan to climb with your friends and have fun! All new boulder problems will be set for the competition.

Key Information:

• Date: Friday, February 2, 2024
• Time: Time slots last for one hour and run from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Location: BirdCoop Climbing Cave
• Registration: Register online, or speak with the staff at the SRC Front desk
• Prerequisites: No previous experience required
• Required Equipment: Climbing shoes will not be provided for use, so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing
• Cost: $10.00

Sign-in: Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your registered start time.  Upon sign-in, please indicate with the Climbing Cave staff which of the 6 groups you will be competing at; men’s or women’s / beginner, intermediate, or advanced (roughly V0-V1, V2-V4, V5 and above)

Prizing: Prizing will be awarded for the winner in each group
