UBC Wellbeing Annual Reports

UBC has a shared vision of creating campus communities where health and wellbeing for all is championed and supported. Guided by the Okanagan Charter and Wellbeing Strategic Framework, students, faculty, staff and community members from across UBC develop and lead plans, programs, and initiatives to address health and wellbeing while also advancing decolonization, equity, and sustainability in meaningful ways.

Each year, the Wellbeing Annual Report celebrates the ongoing collective efforts and commitments of university-wide teams sparking innovation, leading action, and inspiring positive change for people, places, and the planet.

A Collaborative Effort

The Wellbeing Annual Report highlights data and stories that reflect the work of diverse stakeholders from across the university.

Targets and indicators were determined through consultation with wellbeing stakeholders during the development and ongoing implementation of the Wellbeing Strategic Framework and intends to give a snapshot of some of the wellbeing work happening on our campuses.

We look forward to continuing our collaborative work around data collection and working with teams from across units and departments to advance our shared vision of becoming a health and wellbeing promoting university.

We all have a hand in shaping campus environments that support health, wellbeing, and sustainability. By championing wellbeing, we can build stronger and more inclusive communities at UBC and beyond.
