To commemorate the founding of NIRSA (the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association), February 22nd is a day to celebrate health, activity, competition and inclusivity! Check out some of the free recreation opportunities UBC is offering today.
Want to take a dip in the UBC pool or lounge in the hot tub with some friends? Drop-in to the aquatic centre for free with your UBC student card! On February 22nd, enjoy Steam and Sauna from 9am-12pm or 1pm-9pm. Public swim and hot tub are open from 8am-9pm. For the full aquatic drop-in schedule, click here.
Feel like going for a skate? Drop-in to the UBC skating rink for free with your UBC Student Card from 8:15-9:30pm on February 22nd. Learn more here.
Have some friends you want to play a game of basketball or badminton with? The SRC Gyms are open from 7:30pm-10pm on February 22nd and you can attend for free with your UBC Student Card! Find out more here.
