About the course:
Mental Health First Aid is a two-day, evidence-based workshop that aims to improve mental health literacy by providing the skills and knowledge to help better manage potential or developing mental health problems in the self, a family member, a friend or a colleague. Learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health problems, be able to provide initial support to a person who may be developing a mental health problem or is experiencing a crisis, and be prepared to guide a person towards professional help. This training is 12 hours in length to be completed over 2 days. You must attend the full training in order to be eligible for the course completion certificate.
